There was a lot to process right now.

She was in bed with me. The only thing covering our bodies was the sheets I draped over us while she slept. I knew I had worn her out which was why I didn’t want to wake her up right now. Knowing how she was, she was probably the type to keep to a strict routine and she would certainly have my head once she woke up. Right now though, it didn’t matter.

I stared at her. The purple ends looked like they were fading, her skin with tiny spots on her face that weren’t visible from afar. I didn’t care about any of those, but I wanted to commit this side of her to my memory. I wanted to think back and remember her as the carefree, grumpy woman who was hiding so many layers underneath. It was a wonder how she felt about me now. With the direction things were heading last night, I didn’t want to lose any of this.

Mia was the woman I wanted to hold on to. There was something different about her that pulled me in. Being here with her only proved that much to me. I had been awake for two hours and I was still so enamored by her.

She was just so perfect.

It was a wonder if she knew that as well. I tilted my head, reaching out lightly as she groaned and snuggled in my bed. My fingers brushed her hair, smiling as she moaned and leaned in closer so I could scratch her scalp.

These were the little moments that mattered so much to me and I wanted to hold on to them for as long as I could. She shifted in her sleep, turning to see me watching her and staring at her. I didn’t care at all that she caught me and more about how she would react to me watching her.

“Good morning, Mia.”

A blush crept up her cheeks even though her expression remained the usual. I smiled brightly at her, pressing a kiss to her cheeks while she huffed, staring at the marks all over her body.

“Seems someone got a little too excited.” She mumbled, staring at the different hickeys all over her tits.

It wasn’t that I did it for any other reason besides the fact that she looked so beautiful with them on her like this right now. They were an addition; an accessory she probably didn’t need, but still did.

“I won’t deny that.”

She looked away from me, not expecting my admittance. It was morning now, which meant she could see the room better. Also, there was clarity after all that had happened since yesterday.

I waited for her disappointment or annoyance, but neither came. I watched her with bated breath as she pulled the sheets off her body, revealing the creamy skin underneath. The sun certainly had a way of making things look even better.

I stared at her unabashedly as she got up from the bed, revealing even more of her body to me.
